Traffic Reports/logs

Individual domain name logs are set up on hosting accounts upon request at no charge. If you want to be able to generate reports to show who is seeing your site, what pages they are looking at, how they found you, the type of browser they are using, etc you will need this enabled. Just send an email to support@ntinet.com.
Be sure to include the domain name that you want this enabled for and we will set it up.

Once enabled, you will see a file in a the /logs directory under your account. These files are named for the month (example ex0207.LOG would be the log for July 2002)and a new one is restarted on the first of each month.

Now that you have "raw" logs, you will need a way to run a report to tabulate the results and make sense out of it.

One option is to request monthly Webtrends reports from us. Available for a one time setup charge of $20.00 and $5.00 per month. You can see a sample report here.

Due to the sometimes enormous size of log files, we recommend downloading and zipping them (using WINZIP) on a regular basis. If your log files are large enough it could result in a charge for extra server storage space.
