Question Title How to set-up your Internet Connection for Dial-up. (Vista)

1. Click on the Start Menu. (Please note that on Windows Vista, the Start Menu no longer says start it is a picture of the Windows Flag.)

 

2. Click on “Network.” This will be on the right hand side of the menu.

 

3. In the “Network” window, there will be a bluish menu bar near the top. One of the options here is “Network and Sharing Center .” Please click on this item.

 

4. In the “Network and Sharing Center ” you will find a list of Tasks on the left. In this list, please click on “Set up a Connection or Network.”

 

5. Select Dial-Up from the list and click “Next” at the bottom.

 

Fill out the information as provided by NTInet. 

In the Phone number field, type your local access number exactly as it needs to be dialed without spaces or dashes. Do not put anything in the area code box.

**NOTE** Please verify with your phone service provider that the access number you have chosen is local to your dialing area. NTInet Inc. will not be responsible for any long distance or toll charges incurred.


Type your Username and Password in the indicated fields.Remember that these fields are case sensitive.

 

7. Click “Connect” at the bottom. This will test your connection and connect you to NTInet and save your settings.

 

8. Your connection is now ready to be used!
